So last night driving home from church here was the kids' conversation. . .
Isaac: I see pizza! (we passed a Pizza Hut) I see pizza out Sissy's window.
Me: Wow, Isaac! Are you the smartest boy in the world?
Kalista: No, he's not the smartest. I'm smart too.
Me: I didn't say he was the smartest PERSON, just the smartest boy.
Kalista: Oh yeah, cause YOUR the smartest person mom! Dad, she may even be smarter than you!
Isaac: NO! Her not smart! Her my pooka-wooka, and daddy's my bubba-woo! (These would be the silly names that Erin and I call Isaac)

Isaac Kisses
So I don't know if it is just a little boy thing or just an Isaac thing, but he doesn't really like giving kisses anymore. For the past few weeks or so I've been getting him to kiss me on the cheek. He kisses each one, I declare I need one more on the first cheek, and at the last minute I turn my head so I get a "real" kiss. He HATES when I do that, but continues to fall for it every time. Last night at bed time we were going through our ritual and I tricked him not once, but twice. He was squealing (and laughing) but then declared, "One more time mommy. On Cheek. Put Hand on Mouth." So I put my hand over my mouth, he kissed my cheek, and then declared, "Dare, dats a good one!"

Another Snow Day
Here we go again. . . . You gotta love working in a school district with rual routes. Even though our immediate area didn't get much sleet or snow yesterday (and Erin still had school), the kids and I are home for a snow day! Kalista was excited since she got to have a jammie day (her favorite kind of day) She even thanked me for having a snow day, as if it were my decision! Any way these are some pictures from the snow day two Fridays ago. With Kalista and I having the flu last week, I am just now getting around to posting them. Enjoy!
